We woke up to another day of rain until about lunch time when the sun started to shine and the clouds started to move out and reveal all of the fresh snow on the mountains.
D worked all day and I grilled us some hot dogs for lunch. Once the work day was done we headed back into Taos to stop and get a few souvenirs and have dinner at Guadalajara Grill. Supposedly this is where the locals eat and more authentic Mexican food instead of New Mexican food.
There seemed to be a lot of reviews raving about the margarita and fish tacos. The restaurant is really casual and you go up to the counter to order your food then find a place to sit and they bring it to you. They have one restaurant on the north end of Taos and one on the south end.

The large margarita was $7.95, I thought it was ok not 100% worth it, but you do get a lot for your money.
Chips and salsa $2.25 where ok as well, not a whole lot of heat or flavor to it. Just as a side note, how come everyone charges for chips and salsa? Back home it runs like a river for free no matter where you go.
The 3 Fish Tacos $13 (three tacos with grilled bell peppers and onions, served with rice and beans, topped with sour cream and guacamole) Mmmm these where pretty tasty.
I picked the Pork Fajitas $11.25 (chicken, beef or pork with grilled bell peppers and onions, served with rice and beans, sour cream and guacamole) The flavor was good and it was for sure a filling dish.
If I went back I would try something different, but the fish tacos where really good.
